Pernah tak terbau ayam goreng or abang kue tiaw goreng tengah menumis something in his super big kuali wafting through the air and suddenly, BAM! You're seven years old again, clutching a crumpled RM10 note at the pasar malam? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Yeah, me too. It's like a time machine, but tastier.

We all know pasar malam is where you go for laksa Penang or nasi kerabu ayam bakar that's confirm sedap, kan? But it's way more than just food. It's a whole vibe. A happening. It's...well, let's just say it's one of the best memory ever; and still. ✨

Seriously, pasar malam is where memories are made. Like, every Saturday when I was a kid, my parents would give me pocket money and take me. The smell of ayam goreng, ayam percik, corn on the cob… and putu piring! OMG, putu piring was my JAM. And the comics! Dragon Ball, Dr. Slump, Pahlawan Naga, Detective Conan, Doraemon… I bought them all at the pasar malam. It was the weekly routine.

And get this – even now, I live about 30 minutes away, but I still go back when I can. They don't sell comics anymore, but that pakcik and makcik putu piring is still there, same face, now his kids are helping out. It’s crazy! It’s like a living, breathing time capsule. Best-best! 😎
