My 2025 Resolution: My Manifesto for Peace, Purpose, and Presence 📝
It’s been yeaaaarsss since I last shared my New Year’s resolutions. (Throwback to 2019, anyone?) Life has been a ride; goals achieved, dreams ticked off, Alhamdulillah. This year, I’m switching gears. I don't know how long I can stand this hustle-and-bustle corporate grind, anymore. Usia pun dah meningkat.
Here’s how I’m rollin' rolling' rolling, InsyaAllah:
The Slow Living Manifesto
“Less is More” is my new war cry. I’m Marie Kondo-ing my schedule and my mind. Why sprint when I can stroll?
- Mindful Mornings. Starting my day with a nice cup of coffee and
quiet vibesduring the morning chaos with my kid - Family First. Board games, bedtime stories, unhurried park strolls and more homecooked meal; and baking and gardening, of course 🌱. Goodbye, rushing~
- Digital Detox. Limiting screen time. No scrolling past bedtime.
Freelance Hustle 🌟
Goodbye corporate rat race, hello dreams; it’s time to build a career that’s meaningful and flexible; just like I’ve always wanted.
- Website Launch. I’m building my VA empire! SEO will be my secret sauce.
- Content is King. Writing every day. Articles, blogs—if it’s got words, I’m on it.
- AdSense Hustle. Boosting my revenue without losing my sanity. Need to get that ka-ching masuk.
- Client Connections. Networking (aka making kawan baru) is top priority.
Self-Care Essentials
This year, self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a survival strategy.
- Sleep Goals. 8 hours, non-negotiable. My panda eyes deserve a break.
- Hydration Hero. Tracking 3 liters of water daily with my shiny new bottle. #HydrateOrDriedUp
- Move It. 10,000 steps daily. Family outings = sneaky cardio sessions.
- Zen Mode. Meditation or deep breathing. Research said: just five minutes a day keeps the stress monster away.
Spiritual Nourishment ❤️
Nothing grounds me like faith. This year, I’m diving deeper.
- Faith First. Prioritizing prayer and reflection. It’s my ultimate recharge.
- Mindful Makan. Eating to nourish, not punish. No crazy diets, just balanced meals.
Inner Peace Project 🌸
2025 is my year to get cozy with myself.
- Self-Compassion. Being my own cheerleader. No more beating myself up over small stuff or always thinking the best of people, giving them the benefit of the doubt. But here’s the thing, from now on when something feels off, I’m out. No more compromising my peace
- Inner Child Healing. Journaling, doodling, maybe even crayon art. It’s time to befriend that little kid in me.
Learning and Continuous Improvement 📚
Staying curious and growing every day is non-negotiable this year.
- Read More. Diving into books that inspire, educate, and entertain.
- Learn More. Picking up new skills, exploring courses, or even trying out hobbies that push my boundaries.
- Daily Growth. Setting aside time to reflect on what I’ve learned and how I can improve.
Is this perfect? Nope. Will I tweak things along the way? Of course. Life’s unpredictable, kan? But I’m committed to slowing down and soaking up every precious moment.
So here’s to 2025, the year of living slow, loving big, and more free time. Wishing us all a year filled with intention, connection, and joy. Let’s do this 🎉!
