A Decade of Blogging: Rekindling My Passion
It feels like just yesterday I was a wide-eyed student, typing away on my laptop, heart full of stories and a world of possibilities. That was February 2011, the humble beginning of my blogging journey. What started as a casual hobby quickly blossomed into a passion project that would shape a significant part of my life.
Back then, I was all about sharing my daily adventures, from campus life to personal musings. It was a raw and honest outlet for my thoughts and feelings. The more I wrote, the more I realized the power of connecting with others through shared experiences.
As my blogging journey progressed, I found myself drawn into the vibrant world of online communities. Contests, giveaways, and collaborations with fellow bloggers became exciting milestones. It was during this time that I discovered a love for makeup and food, and decided to dive deeper into the lifestyle niche. Living in the charming city of Ipoh, Perak, I had a unique opportunity to explore and share the local culinary scene and beauty finds.
A turning point came when my blog caught the attention of renowned brands like Samsung, Safi, and Legoland Malaysia. Collaborating with these industry giants was a dream come true and a huge validation of my writing. It was an exhilarating chapter filled with exciting opportunities and experiences.
However, life, as it often does, took an unexpected turn. Between family, work, and raising children, my blogging passion took a backseat. But the spark never truly extinguished. A recent conversation with a fellow blogger reignited the fire within me, and I realized it was time to dust off my keyboard and start writing again.
I'm excited to embark on this new chapter, and I invite you to join me on this journey. Let's share stories, inspire each other, and create a supportive community.
