Exciting isn’t it? So last week, Lin berpeluang untuk merasai sendiri pengalaman di Hana Medispa (I win their “Chemical Peeling” lucky draw. HAHA).

Start with Facial Consultation session with Dr. Husna. She explain, your current face condition, moisture, wrinkle (the machine can detect underlying fine wrinkle as it 70% accurate!), pigmentation and all, then she will suggest several treatment and skincare for you.

As that day, Lin nak buat chemical peeling, she explains how it works, benefit, process and probable side effect of the treatment then barulah we proceed to the next step.

Chemical Peeling

"A chemical peel is a treatment in which an acid solution is used to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. In performing chemical peels, physicians apply alpha hydroxy acids (AHA), trichloroacetic acid (TCA), or phenol to the skin." 

It just a simple treatment, takes about 45 mins. Start with cleansing, face and neck massage then a thin layer of Glycolic Acid (Strength 35%) will be applied to my face for 5 minutes. Lepas tu, beautician in charge, Ika, will get rid of it by applying another cream/serum to order to neutralize it PH. Massage some more, and mask-time (under a Omega Light) for 20mins. Last sekali Ika apply sunblock.

So, this is before and after pic (after 3 days).

Redness and scar reduce, (acne yang acah-acah akil baligh pun tak ada) tinggal sikit sahaja lagi scar. Sekarang my skin look better and in “healing state”. No more jerawat berulang, at the same place. Maybe I should repeat this treatment next month ;)

Sakit? Nope. But it does sting a bit masa apply GA35. But it doesn’t last long. Side effect involve peeling and else, but I don’t think I have it. Price? Here it is:
